Kelx, real name Kelvin Kinuthia (born August 28, 1995), is the founder and CEO of Kelxfy, the founder of Kelx Graphics, and a digital strategist, graphic designer, and content writer from Kenya.

Kelx is also an author and blogger at kelxfy.com, where he researches, writes, and publishes meaningful articles on various topics.

Early Life

Kelx grew up in the rural areas of Kenya. Growing up, he was a curious child and spent most of his time exploring and studying, aspiring one day to become an influential person.

Education

Kelx was one of the top computer students in his class. After his high school education, Kelx joined Kenyatta University, where he graduated with a diploma in information technology in 2018.

Career and Occupation

After completing his university education. Kelx started working as a freelance graphic designer and founded Kelx Graphics in 2017. While working at Kelx Graphics, Kelx spent most of his time helping clients and businesses succeed online.

In 2018, Kelx founded Kelx Innovations, a digital creative agency that he later rebranded to Kelxfy in 2022. The rebrand enabled Kelxfy to become a premier online digital resource that creates and curates highly engaging, creative digital content. This has also helped Kelx connect more with his audience while providing customized digital solutions.

Previously, Kelx used to work at Afrika Lyrics as a digital content manager. At Afrika Lyrics, Kelx was able to achieve more for himself. Here, he used his digital skills and SEO skills to grow the website’s traffic to more than 300,000 monthly visits.

Kelx’s YouTube and Content Creation Journey

Kelx passion for content creation and digital publishing started way back in 2018 when he used to publish lyrical videos on his YouTube channels. In 2019, Kelx faced a major setback when his channels [Kelx Innovations] were terminated due to copyright strikes. Also in 2020, his Facebook page was hacked, and Kelx lost the page audience he had built over the years.

These setbacks did not deter Kelx from achieving his goals, he remained focused and in 2021 he made a turning point when he rebranded to Kelx. Kelx as a brand represented his freelance work as a graphic designer at Kelx Graphics and a content creator at Kelx Innovations.

Since Kelx Innovations and Kelx Graphics were run by the same person, Kelx decided to create a company out of it. In 2021, Kelx started a strategy to rebrand and link the two. He created the logo of Kelx and later decided to come up with a creative name that is unique and catchy.

At this time, he couldn’t find a unique name on the internet and he spent months researching. In October 2021 he came up with the name Kelxfy which means Kelx for you. He started the rebranding journey and came up with the Kelxfy logo. He also acquired the custom username @kelxfy on all social media platforms. In November 2021, Kelx acquired the domain name Kelxfy.com and this is how this website was born.

Currently, Kelx runs his own YouTube channel, Kelx, and a music channel, Gengeton, where he publishes video content for his audience. Apart from being a YouTuber, Kelx is also an author-editor and a blogger at Kelxfy website.

As an author-editor and blogger, Kelx is responsible for researching writing, publishing, and frequently updating the website with fresh content. Kelx also works closely with the Kelxfy team to deliver high-quality digital content and offer customized digital solutions.
