Quickmart had its first-ever branch in Nakuru. In 2023, Quickmart has 55 branches in 14 counties across Kenya, making it one of the largest retailers in the country.

Here is the story of Quickmart Supermarkets in Kenya
- 2006 – The first Quickmart store is established in the Rift valley town of Nakuru Kenya
- 2010 – Quickmart Ruai is opened, this is when Quickmart came into the Capital City
- 2019 – Valley Arcade branch becomes the first 24-hour Quickmart Outlet
- 2020 – Quickmart (11 stores) merges with Tumaini Supermarkets (13 stores) to have 24 stores countrywide.
- 2021 – Quickmart launches the Fresh Food strategy, starting with Quickmart Lavington
- 2021 – Quickmart opens first-ever branch in the coastal region – Quickmart Mtwapa
- 2021 – Quickmart opens a total of 45 stores countrywide by the end of the year 2021
- 2022 – Quickmart opens two more branches in Nairobi, Westlands, and Kitengela branches
- 2022 – Quickmart Express and Quickmart Pioneer are opened in Machakos, total branches 50 at the end of 2022.
- 2023 – Quickmart has a total of 55 branches countrywide.
