Betty Bayo, real name Beatrice Wairimu Mbugua, was a celebrated Kenyan artist best known for her gospel songs. Betty Bayo will be greatly remembered for her work in the Kenyan music industry, and her death comes as a shock to many Kenyans. She entertained Kenyans for more than two decades and was among the pioneers of new-gen gospel music.
Death
Unfortunately, Betty Bayo passed away on 10th November 2025 after a long battle with cancer, to be specific, leukaemia, according to various sources.
Family
Betty Bayo leaves behind a young family of two children, a girl and a boy. Sky Victor, a young Kenyan artist, and her little brother. Betty Bayo also leaves her husband.
