Recently Phineas Waweru was named the most streamed Kenyan artist in 2022 on Spotify. He beat local artists thanks to their songs released together with his fellow artist J1 also known as Joshua Somerkun.

The UK based Kenyan rapper has a grosses 270 Million streams of Spotify wrapped becoming the most streamed Kenyan artist overseas.
