Drill Digest – Facts, Members & Owners

Drill Digest is a platform that was established in 2021 to promote the music culture in Kenya and beyond. It was started by young Kenyans with a passion for drill music and it is based in Embakasi.

Drill Digest was formed by three high school friends namely Odzz Music, Sean Houdini and Billcash Adibogo. Oddz Music real name Roy Odero is the Founder and CEO of Drill digest, Sean Houdini is a rapper and acts as an A&R (artists and repertoire) at the label. Bill Cash Mbogo is the music director and editor, the man behind the camera.
Drill Digest Success
Drill Digest has grown to be one of the best platforms that showcase, document, and promote drill and rap culture in Kenya. Drill Digest is best known to promote drill music and start musical conversations revolving around rap music. They are the faces behind Underdog Drill Cyphers, Scar Mkadinali, and Buruklyn Boyz interviews conducted in 2022.

Also, through Drill Digest talented artists were discovered through the Drill Digest Underdog Cyphers. Some of the artists who were discovered by Drill Digest include; Bueno, Kaash, Spinx Mafia, Blvke, Kenyamu, Mello with a P, Slater, Feron, Goatee

Drill Digest Cyphers
Drill Digest has so far conducted two cyphers, titled Episode 1 and Episode 2. Check them out below;
Drill Digest Underdogs Cypher Episode 1
In Episode 1 of Drill Digest Cypher, they managed to choose the best after artists’ submissions. The lucky artists who got a chance to be featured include; Bueno, Kaash, Spinx Mafia, Blvke, Kenyamu, Mello with a P, Slater, Feron and Goatee.
Drill Digest Underdogs Cypher Episode 2
In Episode 2 of Drill Digest Underdogs Cypher, there were many submissions and the team decided to come up with a creative way to choose the winners. Over 250 artists responded to the call. But to get a chance to participate, artists were to pay a certain amount. The artists who made the cut include; Trapper, Bulovard, Paws, Manadoty, El Dizie, Lines, Bobby, Hitilafu and ZSideG.
