Rose Njeri is a Kenyan web developer who went viral on social media after developing a website application (https://civic-email.vercel.app) that is alleged to have spammed the Kenyan parliament. Rose Njeri was later detained on 30th May after publishing a tweet that had a link to the website; she was charged on 4th June 2025 with this.
