2023 Kenyan School Calendar, Terms & Dates
The Ministry of Education has released an updated 2023 Kenyan school calendar for all primary and secondary schools in Kenya. Following the COVID disruption, the normal school calendar will resume. The first term begins on January 23, when all schools will open.

3 Terms
Term 1
The term will last for 13 weeks, from 23 January 2023 to 21 April 2023
Half-term – 3 Days (from 23 March 2023 to 26 March 2023)
Holiday – 2 Weeks ( from 22 April 2023 to 7 May 2023)
Term 2
The term will last for 10 weeks, from 8 May 2023 to 11 August 2023
Half-term – 3 Days (from 29 June 2023 to 2 July 2023)
Holiday – 2 Weeks ( from 12 August 2023 to 27 August 2023)
Term 3
The term will last for 10 weeks, from 28 August 2023 to 3rd November 2023
