The Story of Pilot Nyako
I remember very well when Nyako Pilot would go live from her Facebook profile on a group called “The Globe Connecting People”. The original page, “The Globe Connecting People” was one of the best-known Facebook pages that connected Africans in the diaspora home. The page which consisted of more than 100K members was one of the gateways that brought joy to many who missed home.
Also, the page acted as a bridge to more people who wanted to go abroad and unlock opportunities. This is a page where people gave their real-life experiences in the diaspora, I could see and learn many things by just watching members abroad going live.
The Journey…
This is where Nyako was inspired by many to also start going live. Nyako was then a bus driver at a school in Germany. Every morning while driving, Nyako would tell her stories back in Kenya and how she started her life in Mombasa. Sometimes, she would go live after work and showcase her cooking skills while sharing stories, discussing trends topics, and more. She would narrate everything boldly and without filters. Advising and inspiring many ladies through different topics discussed in that group.
Quicky Nyako evolved, and she created a Facebook page. Her fans started joining her Livestream, and they would share links to other groups. Slowly Nyako was able to build her online community. Recently in 2023, it’s when Nyako became famous on TikTok and many have come to love her relatable content.

Pilot Nyako started her Tiktok account after fans demanded more. Here got an opportunity to realize her dream of a content creator. Even though Nyako started going live on Facebook, TikTok has enabled her to become famous within a short period.
Firstly, Nyako hit the headlines after she was discussed by Andrew Kibe. This evolved into an online rant between the two, and many people came to know about Nyako. Secondly, Nyako was involved in an online rant that targeted Citizen TV presenter Lulu Hassan. This is where she became more popular. Later, she apologized to Lulu Hassan for her ‘reckless’ behavior.
On May 4, 2023, Nyako announced a homecoming party, which was held on June 4, 2023, at Labaita Lounge. She was well-received by her loyal fans who have supported her along the way. She also interviewed popular YouTuber Vincent Mboya narrating her story.

Nyako ‘nunu’ Trending Video
In March 2024, Nyako was trending on X formerly Twitter for her leaked video that shows her ‘nunu’. The alleged video shows Nyako Pilot engaging on a video camera showing her privates with someone who later came to leak the video. In a TikTok live video, Nyako shared that she was aware this was about to happen and pleaded with the person not to leak it for the sake of her kids.
This person went ahead to leak the explicit video and has since gone viral on social media. The motive behind the leak remains unknown.
