Nikita Kering’ Biography – Kenya’s Talented Superstar
Nikita Kering’ is one of the fastest rising superstar in Kenya. She is best known for her passion in music at a younger age. Nikita has since grown her talent in music and has won several awards. Nikita has proven to be the next big superstar after releasing her debut EP “A Side of Me” in 2021 and ” The Other Side” in 2022.
Who is Nikita Kering’?
Nikita Kering’ real name Nikita Chepchumba Kering’ born 26 February 2002 (20 years old) is a singer, songwriter and a vocalist from Kenya. She was born in Uasin Ngishu County. Nikita started her musical career back in 2017 at the age of 15 years.
Awards
She has won several awards such as Afrima Awards 2019 in two categories; Best Female Artist in East Africa and Revelation of the African Continet award. She has also won Cafe Ngoma Awards as the Best New Artist. And lastly she won Pulse Music Video Awards in 2018.

Nikita lives with her family since she is currently schooling. Her father is called Joseph Kering’ while her mother is known as Anne Kering’. She has 5 siblings and she is the fourth born in her family. Her parents natured her talent in music at a younger age. As she was also provided with the best education. Nikita has revealed that she has had the best education. At a younger age she attended Riara Springs Academy and Kilimani Junior Academy for primary education. For her High School education Nikita went to Nairobi Academy and then to Brookhouse International School where she is currently pursuing a Business in Technology Course specializing in Music Performance also Business/Marketing and Production.

The song Tragedy is Nikita’s breakthrough song released on 31 May 2019 through Mr Eazi emPawa program. Nikita benefited through the emPawa Africa initiative, whereby Mr Eazi selected 100 artists from Africa to receive $3000 each to create a music video.
Through the program Nikita was able to sell her music in Africa and beyond.
