The real meaning of IKOJN

So Today I was just browsing the internet and I met the a Kenyan fashion brand called IKOJN little did I know the meaning and the creativity behind it. So I embarked on my research journey and alas, I just found out the real meaning of IKOJN. This really surprised me.

IKOJN meaning

IKOJN is a name which means NJOKI when we read it backwards. It is derived from the company’s CEO who is called Cris Njoki real name Christine Njoki. I am so surprised since I have seen the clothing brand several times but didn’t know the real meaning. It is indeed very creative.

Ikojn is a woman’s wear brand based in Kenya who’s main goal is to enable women to feel soft and strong everyday. Ikojn is the complete epitome of sensual femininity and ladylike strength. It focuses on leaving the wearer feeling soft and strong at the same time by playing on feminism with a balance between soft and hard.

According to their website ikojn.com, IKOJN has three store locations in Kenya including West Gate Shopping Mall and two other branches which include; Imaara Mall and Green House.

As a creative, we ought to explore our full potential by trying out different things. When I was trying to come up with a new name of my website, I found out that most domains are taken. So what I did I took the name KELX and added FY to mean For You and it stuck.

The name you choose for your business matters a lot. A short, catchy and unique name will go a long way to sustain your brand.

For example, when we study popular brands, there is usually simplicity in how they present themselves so it remains memorable. If we talk about the APPLE company logo, it is unique in it’s own way and communicates simplicity and class.
