Meta has released Instagram Notes to be used on Instagram. Instagram Notes is a new feature that makes it easy to communicate with your mutual friends or your close friends on Instagram thus making communication more fun and easy. The Instagram notes limits a user to only 60 characters where you can use your favorite emojis and text.

According to Instagram blog, sharing notes is not available to everyone currently. Instagram also mention that;

Notes gives you a personal space to share updates as short text posts with certain people who can then reply to them using messaging on Instagram.

Also it is worth noting that a note you share with your friends will be available for 24 hours at the top of their inbox before it expires. You can also chat privately with anyone who replies your Instagram note and this will be between only you two.

You can also leave a new note to everyone in your list. This is a fun way to communicate.

How to share a note

Here are the four steps to share a note with your friends

Tap or in the top right of feed.
At the top of your Chats list, tap your profile picture.
Tap Share what’s on your mind… and enter a note of up to 60 characters.
Below Share with, choose to share your note with Followers you follow back or your Close friends.

How to leave a note

The following are steps to leave a note to your friends.

Tap or in the top right of feed.
Tap your profile picture at the top, then tap Leave a new note.
Tap Share what’s on your mind… and enter a note of up to 60 characters.
Below Share with, choose to share your note with Followers you follow back or your Close Friends.
Tap Share in the top right to share your new note.
