Bodaboda Forest Road Video - All Information

On 7th March 2022, a Forest Road bodaboda video circulating on social media went viral. In the video we see Kenyan bodaboda riders assaulting an unknown woman and the woman is in dire pain. The video caused the police to intervene as social media users expressed their anger on Twitter with the hashtag #ForestRoad. After the video went viral tough measures were laid out by the relevant authorities to curb future occurence.

The Video Origin

The Forest road bodaboda video was recorded by Benson Muli going by the username @bensonMuli563 on Tiktok. Benson however deleted the video, but the video had already made it’s way to other social media platforms.

Forest Road now called Wangari Mathai road is located just past Ngara on your way to Parklands.

Consequences

All bodaboda riders captured on the video were arraigned in court and charged according to the law. Also President Uhuru Kenyatta ordered a crackdown of all bodabodas in the country.
