Sultana Citizen TV, 7th March 2022
Sultana release date 7th march 2022. This date is very historic as it is the beginning of the new drama series called Sultana on Citizen TV. Sultana is expected to be one of the best film in 2022. The film is produced by Jiffy Pictures. Rashid Abdalla and Latifah Ngujiri are credited as the main producer of the drama series while Citizen TV Wachira Waruru credited as the Executive producer. I analyse how the drama series premiered on 7th March 2022.
Sultana 7th March 2022 review
The show starts with a trailer, we see a troubled rich man (Major Jabali) wearing a white shirt and a black trouser facing back in a house, a dining set. Another scene takes us to the sea, and we see fishermen fishing. We also see two women in labour and their midwives.
The man is troubled that his wife is in labour pains and the doctor has not yet arrived. The man is talking with the house manager and they are seen disagreeing on some issues. The man want’s his kid to be delivered.
On scene two, in a village setting we also see the midwife helping the woman in labour. The lady in the village gives birth with the help of the midwife. It is raining, we see a man (Mwanzele) coming to call the midwife to go help the rich family in the labour process.
The midwife arrives at the rich family homestead and helps the family in the labour process. On the other hand in the village the family is glad that they have their baby.
The show ends when the midwife (Bi Salama) and the househelp (Abya) argue on how to tell the man that the baby born is a girl. Major believes if a girl is born it is a sign of a bad omen. The audience is left in a suspense after the man calls Asia
