Introducing the KICHELE Digital School by Kelx

Over the years, I have been learning and experimenting, and now it’s time to give back to my community by introducing the KICHELE Digital School, a project that I have been yearning to launch. The Kichele Digital School is aimed at giving back to society through education. Teaching digital skills to myself, I have managed to build Kelxfy into a success, and now it’s my time to share my knowledge and skills with the world.

What is KICHELE Digital School?

Kichele Digital School is a digital platform aimed at helping the youth navigate the digital economy and empowering them with knowledge and skills that will help them navigate the harsh reality of unemployment, especially in Kenya, where the majority of youth are unemployed.

The Cause

As I shared a post on LinkedIn, this is the beginning of my transformation and making a change in my life. Having personally struggled with unemployment since 2018, I know how it feels to be helpless. I have been in dire situations due to a lack of opportunities, and I believe that can change for the next generation.

Gift at 30

No more waiting; the clock is ticking, and soon I will be 30 years old. I want to leave a lasting impact on the world. After building and running my venture KELXFY, since 2021, I have taught myself all the necessary skills to run a startup just from scratch, and I believe the best gift I can offer the world after living 3 decades is TEACHING and EDUCATING digital skills, just like my father dedicated his time to teach and empower the next generation.

I believe if I use the knowledge and skills that I have learnt over the years to empower the world, it will make a big DIFFERENCE and welcome all as we launch the KICHELE Digital School, a premier online education platform by Kelx.

Way to go! (My Story)

I believe success is in our hands. After graduating from Kenyatta University with a diploma in information technology, I vowed to myself that I was not going back to my rural areas. Growing up, I had seen it all. I struggled a lot and later struggled to find a job. So what did I do?

I patiently started learning and building after getting my laptop in 2017. I taught myself how to code, how to write blogs, and how to create videos, and these digital skills have helped me change my life. Now, yes, I might be jobless and broke due to limited opportunities, especially in Kenya where I live, but the skills I have learnt along the way will forever be inside me, and that’s something I am grateful for.

So in my sense of gratitude to the world, I want to give back to the world by sharing knowledge and digital skills with the world, and I believe this will be my biggest breakthrough as I approach 30 years.

Call for Help!

Over the last few years, yes, I have been struggling to put food on the table, and it’s not that I can’t do something about it. But it’s because I have been sacrificing and dedicating my time and resources to build, learn, and grow. I believe that our current situation can only be like this if we remain the same.

I have asked close friends, family, and well-wishers to support my journey, and I am glad that everyone has been very supportive. So I decided that I can use what I already have – KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS – to change my situation by creating a platform that will offer FREE education to all, hence the KICHELE digital school.

My Mission

As the business coach at KICHELE DIGITAL SCHOOL my mission is simple – to EDUCATE, INSPIRE and EMPOWER the modern youth.

My Vision

My vision is to empower 1000+ Kenyan youths with digital SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE that will empower the next generation.

Conclusion

I believe in this digital creator economy and AI technology. With the advancement of technology, anyone can transform themselves and become whatever they want to be. And if we have the right skills and knowledge, that is an added advantage.

I might be broke and stuff with limited resources, but I am a man on a mission, and KICHELE DIGITAL SCHOOL will become a reality soon.
