Mungai Eve Story: How Mungai Eve Started
Mungai Eve joined YouTube on January 21, 2020. She posted her first-ever YouTube video on October 11, 2020. Then she started interviews, covering the Machakos Gengetone Festival, which happened on Saturday, October 31, 2020. After covering the whole festival, she went to the streets to ask people their opinions regarding trending issues.
During this time, I met Mungai Eve at around Donholm-Umoja. I didn’t know much about her personally; she was asking random people interviews.

Now, after this coverage, around December, Mungai Eve went ahead to cover Gotta City news. Here, she met Madocho and made Madocho and the whole Gotta City trend for a whole month. However, at this moment, people didn’t really care about Mungai Eve but about the content, she was delivering. Her channel won people’s hearts when she helped Madocho, Liyetin, and Stupid Boy come up, covering every news story till they got recognized. At one point, they got a sponsor (Vagah of Afro Royalties) to sponsor their music. The rest is history.
