Andrew Kibe graduates: From a Content Creator to a CEO | Yafreeka
Andrew Kibe is the definition of success. Like it or not, Andrew Kibe is rising to be a multimillionaire and one of the wealthiest Kenyans. Andrew Kibe has made a name for himself in the digital space and the business world. A few days ago, Andrew Kibe launched one of his most visionary projects, Yafreeka.
Yefreeka
As the founder of Yefreeka, a creative platform, Andrew Kibe is moving in a direction no one had predicted. This move came as a result of failure. In case you don’t know, Andrew Kibe lost six monetized YouTube channels in September 2023. These channels had increased Andrew Kibe’s net worth to millionaire status.
Immediately after this loss, Andrew Kibe vowed to return to Kenya to invest and build an app that would revolutionize the creator economy in Kenya and Africa. During the launch of Yafreeka on December 3rd, Andrew Kibe urged investors to invest in building Yafreeka.
Andrew Kibe Graduation
In an event dubbed “Graduation Party” and headlined by Wakadinali, Andrew Kibe graduated from a content creator to a visionary founder and entrepreneur. The same event saw the launch of Yafreeka. Investors had purchased tickets for Ksh. 20,000. This will allow each investor to own a part of Yafreeka.
The Future of Yafreeka
As a startup, Yafreeka has a long way to go. But when it picks up, there is already a ready market. Just like we have Baze by Safaricom, YouTube, TikTok, and other apps, Yafreeka has the potential to grow significantly in the coming years due to the high demand for content, especially by Gen Z.
In a recent interview, Andrew Kibe disclosed that more than 100,000 users had already signed up on Yafreeka after its launch. He also mentioned that he will tour African countries to urge investors to invest in Yafreeka. Yafreeka is expected to grow in the upcoming years.
