Kenyan artists Fathermoh and Shekina Karen have released one of the most relatable relationship song called “Dai Dai” . The song Dai Dai was released on 6th August 2022, they tell a story of a toxic relationship in a modern society especially in Nairobi. Nowadays in Nairobi relationships are describes as a joke. This is because of cheating and other things that happen on a daily basis until others prefer to remain single.

In the song intro, we can see Shekina Karen (real name Shekina Karen Mwangi) being dropped by a cab driver at her home, she then meets her boyfriend Fathermoh. Fathermoh is agitated that her girlfriend comes late while drunk. She says that she is not drunk and she has come from her friend Beth. But her boyfriend Fathermoh could not believe this.
The conversation escalates when they start dissing and insulting each other. Shekina Karen parks her belongings and is ready to leave. Fathermoh chases her away.

After the conversation gets intense and deep, the chorus comes when Fathermoh says he don’t need her. Then Shekina Karen also says she doesn’t have time to argue with her boyfriend . Together they let go but they don’t agree.
